• The crashes some people are having seem related to the SoundBlaster sound cards (sb16-sb64gold).  It seems that when mixing/playing multiple sounds (especially the pack noises) it can cause a crash sometimes.  I suggest to pause after using arm/disarm until you hear the pack noise before attempting to cast, arm or disarm.  In version 1.6.3 the ability to filter out pack sounds was added as well.   Enable that and it may help some as well.  It has also been suggested that removing the aweman32.dll in your UO directory will help as it is an out of date file.
