Before you can use UOAssist you must register it with Tugsoft. You must register UOAssist for every game account you use (not server but account) on Ultima Online separately. To do this start UOAssist and login to Ultima Online (TM) with one of your characters. Then go to the UOAssist About screen (use the ? button in the bottom right of the main screen or the system menu).
You should now see the about screen. Press the button labeled "Registration ..." on the About screen. This should bring up the following screen:
To register UOAssist you need to fill out a trial or order form putting the seed from the registration dialog in its place on the form. The seed is not related in any way to the server you are connecting to so you can use whichever server you'd like to register on and the same key will work all servers. The same seed is used to register both for the trail and order a license. Please see the registration and order form to order UOAssist. It is VERY important to use the exact seed, using the copy (select then ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) method ensures accuracy (copy is ctrl-c and paste is ctrl-v in most Windows applications).
Once Tugsoft, Inc. has received your order it will create a key for you and email it to you. After you receive your key in email cut and paste it into the key area on the registration dialog (as shown above) and you will be registered which will enable all of the functions. If after putting the key in you get a message telling you that this is an unregistered version or expired version double check the key. If you entered it correctly and are in Ultima Online using the same account you registered UOAssist with and don't get a message telling you that this is a registered version, send the seed and key both to UOAssist@tugsoft.com with a note explaining your problem and the exact wording of the error you receive in UOAssist. Once the key has been entered you should never have to enter it again. But it is suggested you print it out and place it in a safe place (maybe your Ultima Online box). You can use UOAssist on as many machines as you like BUT it will only work for the original account you used to register UOAssist. The same key will work on all machines and servers as long as you are logging in with the same account. NOTE: If you use more than one account on the same machine and want to use UOAssist on all of the accounts you will have to resister for each account. UOAssist is licensed much like the game, that is per account. So a license for each game account you use will need to be purchased if you want to use it past the trial period. Also note that UOAssist has only been tested with official Ultima Online servers and not any other servers (or server emulators as some call them) and is not supported on them at this time.
